Izchel Chacón

Izchel (ee-chell) Chacón (she/her/ella) has been with SYSO 6 years. Izchel was previously SYSO's Manager of Education Programs, and this year will start her 3rd year as Manager of Orchestra Operations. Izchel studied Violin Performance at Cornish College of the Arts and received a Masters degree in Communications from Central Washington University. She has been playing violin for 25 years, and mariachi violin has had her heart for 23 of those years. When she's not gigging with her mariachi group, Izchel is crafting on her sewing machine and cricut, dabbling in graphic design, spending time with her dogs Cuachi and Chata, and watching holiday movies with her husband.
