Colby Siew

Colby Siew is a trumpeter who plays in SYSO's Youth Orchestra and is in the Seattle Conservatory of Music's Conducting Class. This is Colby's second year with SYSO, including two summers of Marrowstone, and he absolutely loves orchestra and the community it creates. Outside of SYSO, Colby is a member of the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band at Redmond High School, plays tennis, and is a dog lover (he has an Australian Labradoodle named Cooper). He also participated in the Summer Jazz program at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Colby hopes to bring a positive and creative voice to SYSO YLP, and is always available to talk to people if they have questions, concerns, or just want to get to know him better.
