Amy has taught general music (K-2), beginning strings (5-6), high school band, jazz, orchestra, steel drums, leadership, and has directed the Edmonds all-girls honor jazz ensemble.

Amy currently serves on boards for the Sno-King Music Education Association and the Mukilteo Arts Foundation, and continues to work as the SYSO Summer Music Program Director.

Amy lives with in Mukilteo with her husband Matt, a 4th grade teacher, and their two children: Clementine, an 11th grader at Kamiak High School, violinist and dancer; and Henry, an 8th grader at Explorer Middle School, a bass player who loves Taekwondo; and their German Shepherd who is named after Bruno Mars.
