Alex Wass

In short, Alex Wass (he/they) is an artist who loves data! Alex has been with SYSO since September 2021. As Data & Operations Manager, Alex is responsible for a lot of the behind-the-scenes administrative work at SYSO including managing the database and application portals, tuition invoicing, office systems and software, and supporting the rest of the SYSO team. After graduating from Kendall College of Art and Design with a Bachelor's degree in Illustration and Oakland University with a Master's degree in Public Administration, Alex found his perfect fit doing administrative work for arts nonprofits, and is thrilled to be doing that work here at SYSO. Alex lives in Mason, Michigan, and spends his free time reading, drawing, writing, learning the piano, and spending time with his family.
