Symphonette Orchestra students will maintain their placement for the 2020-2021 Season. Until we can resume in-person, they are invited to engage in the Intermediate Virtual Orchestra.
Led by Conductor Kate Labiak, the Symphonette Orchestra serves as a wonderful arena for younger, less-experienced musicians to gain valuable performance experience. The repertoire is varied and serves as an introduction to orchestral technique and style. Students in the Symphonette Orchestra typically advance to the Debut Symphony Orchestra.
Due to the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic, SYSO has chosen to create a modular season schedule with 5 terms of 7 weeks each. Families will only pay for terms in which their children participate.
