Debut Symphony Orchestra students will maintain their placement for the 2020-2021 Season. Until we can resume in-person, they are invited to engage in the Intermediate Virtual Orchestra.
Led by Conductor Mark Adamo, the Debut Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1946 as a training group for the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra and remains SYSO’s largest orchestra. A training orchestra for SYSO’s intermediate-level players, students in the Debut Symphony Orchestra typically advance to the Junior Symphony Orchestra.
Due to the uncertainties surrounding the pandemic, SYSO has chosen to create a modular season schedule with 5 terms of 7 weeks each. Families will only pay for terms in which their children participate.
