Financial Aid

In an effort to keep our programs affordable for all students tuition only covers 60% off our costs. This translates into a 40% tuition subsidy for every student. Additionally, SYSO provides $120,000 in financial aid and work-study opportunities. SYSO encourages families to take advantage of the financial aid program, if appropriate.

Families requesting financial aid must complete the required financial aid form, available on-line in pdf format. (You will need the free Adobe Reader to read a pdf file.) These forms are also available from the Orchestra Secretary, or you may call the SYSO office and request a form to be mailed to you. We also offer a limited number of work-study positions. Applications for work-study jobs must be made during the audition process.
