Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra

Comprised of our most advanced players, the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1942, is SYSO's flagship orchestra and one of the premier youth orchestras in the United States. Repertoire includes a variety of styles from early music to world premieres. The orchestra performs three regular season concerts in Benaroya Hall, home of the Seattle Symphony.


Rehearsals
Rehearsals/Sectionals are generally held at the University of Washington, School of Music on Saturday mornings, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm.  Sectional times vary, please view the calendar for the most up to date information.
